Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, died on Friday and was buried on Saturday in Abu Dhabi. Mohammed bin Zayed, his half-brother, who had long been considered the country’s de facto president, was officially elected president of the United Arab Emirates.
