The poster for the 75th Cannes Film Festival has been hoisted on the Palace.

The Truman Show, directed by Peter Weir, is referenced in the poster.

The poster for the 75th Cannes Film Festival, which was unveiled on April 19, was hoisted on the Palace this Sunday. The poster was created by the H20 du Cannet company and has impressive dimensions (11x25m).

As a reminder, the Festival has chosen to honor the film directed by Peter Weir this year after honoring American Spike Lee, president of the jury for the 74th edition in 2021. From behind, Jim Carrey climbs a stairwell and discovers a door in a fake sky.

On the occasion of the first evening of the Cinéma de la plage, it will also be screened on the Macé beach on the Croisette, opposite the Majestic hotel, with free access, starting this Tuesday.

From May 17 to 28, 2022, the Cannes Film Festival will take place.
