If you used to eat surimi, now is the time to change your ways. The sticks made from crab-flavored fish flesh sold at Leclerc have been recalled in large quantities. The bagged surimi crumbs are exactly like this. This is the government website that issued the alert on Thursday, May 12th. Salmon, after Kinder eggs, Buitoni pizzas… Surimi crumbs marketed between May 5 and May 12, 2022, tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, the bacteria that causes listeriosis, a potentially fatal food infection.
