American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson returns to the asylum for terrifying Netflix series trailer

American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson is back in the asylum and once again her visit is seriously dark, with the first trailer for terrifying new Netflix drama series Ratched promising threats and chills aplenty.

Created by Scream Queens and Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, Ratched tells the origin story of asylum nurse Mildred Ratched, inspired by One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest character Nurse Ratched.

Set in 1947, the show sees Mildred arrive at a leading California psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind.

Mildred positions herself as the perfect dedicated nurse to work at the facility but she’s got her own agenda – infiltrating the entire mental health care system аnd those within it.
