The Russian statistics agency, Rosstat, recently released April inflation data.
According to data released on Friday by the statistics agency Rosstat, inflation in Russia continued to rise, reaching 17.8% year on year in April, the highest level since the beginning of 2002. In April, prices increased 1.6% over March of this year.
