Blue Origin, a space company, announced on Friday that its next rocket flight will take place on May 20 with six passengers, including the first Mexican-born woman in space.
The plane will take off at 8:30 a.m. (1:30 p.m. from West Texas (GMT) For billionaire Jeff Bezos’ company, this will be the fifth manned spaceflight.
Katya Echazarreta was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States when she was seven years old. She will also become the youngest American in space at the age of 26.
